Ubiquinol is the reduced form of the Coenzyme Q10 which acts as antioxidant prevents the oxidation of the free radicals and prevents the peroxidation of the lipids in the membranes and low-density proteins.
It acts as cofactor in electron transport chain and oxidative phosphorylation for the production of the ATP i.e. energy.
